Skateboarding pulled me in through the same doorway as surfing: women showing up with grit, creativity, and a kind of grounded bravado that deserved to be documented. I shoot from the deck, from the corner of a bowl, from anywhere I can feel the wheels hit concrete. I want each frame to hold the commitment it takes to drop in, the rhythm of speed building under their feet, and the quiet focus right before a trick lifts off. My intention is to capture the raw, electric feeling of women claiming space in a sport where they have often been overlooked, so anyone viewing the images can sense their power and presence.
